Donald A. Barber Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Donald A. Barber of Freehold, New Jersey, born in Spring Lake, New Jersey, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 25, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Lorraine Higgins Barber; and his grandson Patrick Ring. He is survived by: his children, Charleen Reiff (Lloyd) of Freehold, NJ, Susan Ring (Thomas) of Neptune City, NJ and John Barber (Robin) of Brick, NJ; his grandchildren, John Reiff (Alison), Jeffrey Reiff (Suzanne), Jennifer Murphy (Doug), Ryan Reiff (Jessica), Christopher Ring (Lindsay), Katie Barber and Lindsey Barber; and his aunts and uncles, Don, Katies, Pat, Bill, Lorraine and Tommy. He is also survived by ten greatgrandchildren.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Higgins Memorial (20 Center St, Freehold, NJ 07728). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Co-Cathedral of St. Robert Bellarmine (61 Georgia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). An entombment was held on Thursday, January 30th 2025 at the St. Rose of Lima Mausoleum.
