She is survived by: her husband Peter J. LaPlaca; her children, Joanne (Tom), Peter (Lark), Carole (Michael), Robert (Theresa) and Susan (Tom); her grandchildren, Peter, Greg (Denise), Rob (Emily), Jenn, Adam, TJ, Chris (Katherine), Sally (Matthew), Kate and Nicole (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Alexis (Zach), Lauren, Mia, Riley, Frank, Theodore and Alexander.

In lieu of flowers, the family is requesting donations be made to St. Rose of Lima Church.
