She was predeceased by: her husband Sergio Alvarado. She is survived by: her daughter Arleen Rios (George); her grandchildren, Jacqueline (Andrew) and Rebecka (Brennen); her son Sergio R. Alvarado (Dorothy); and her brothers, Anthony Mercado, Victor Mercado, Guillermo Mercado and Hector Mercado.
Visitation was held on Thursday, September 26th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home (100 Elton-Adelphia Rd, Freehold Township, NJ 07728). A funeral Mass was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church (16 Mc Lean St, Freehold, NJ 07728). A burial was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 12:30 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Nj Veterans Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08562).
