He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Francisco, Juanita Aponte and Marcial Montalvo, Sr.; his aunts and uncles, Israel Aponte, Diego Aponte, Benigno Santiago, Mickey Montalvo, Blanca Aponte and Linda Montalvo; and his nephew Elijah Littles.
He is survived by: his parents, Richard Aponte of Perth Amboy and Merida "May" Aponte of Freehold; his siblings, Christina Aponte Swiercz (Nicholas) of Brick, Jacqueline Aponte of Chapel Hill, Alexandra Aponte (Desmond Littles) of Perth Amboy and Richard Aponte, II of Freehold; his grandmother Christina; his nieces, Rosalia, Adriana Cheek, Rhiannon Swiercz and Eliana Littles; and his pet Peanut. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
