He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Heidi L. Goff; his siblings, Gretchen Murray (Ron), Clark William Goff (Diane) and Lisa L. Schaffner (Gus); his siblings-in-law, William A. Lagansky (Lisa) and Bernd Lagansky; and his parents, Clark Goff and Elizabeth "Betty" Goff. He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.

“I felt so privileged to be part of Terry's life. He was a great friend, mentor, and teacher. I shared many laughs with him over the years and I will fondly remember all the times we shared laughing together (especially when boasting about our satirical and obviously fake Rambo-type experiences). I have always admired him for how he loved his wife and family, and how hard he worked. He has left me with many great memories, and I am a better man for having known him.”
