Starr A. Tyrell Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Starr A. Tyrell of Franklinville, New Jersey, born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on March 9, 2025 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

In the vast expanse of eternity, Starr shall find rest, cradled in the arms of everlasting peace. And as we bid Starr farewell, her loved ones carry with them the precious gift of her memory, a beacon of hope guiding them through the shadows of sorrow towards the light of a new dawn.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Warren Layton and Mary Jane Layton. She is survived by: her husband John J. Tyrell; her son Jason (Celess); her grandsons, Sean, Zachary and James; and her brothers, Reed Layton (Lena) and Brian Layton. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the Joy Community Fellowship (309 Florence Ave, Pitman, NJ 08071). A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 14th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
