It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James P. Gallagher Sr. of Franklinville, New Jersey, who passed away on November 10, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his wife Joan; his son James Gallagher Jr.; and his siblings, Robert Gallagher, John "Jackie" Gallagher, Helen Baranowski, Francis Gallagher, William Gallagher and Joseph Gallagher.
He is survived by: his daughters, Barbara "Bunny" Kobie (Paul), Nancy Cummins (late Edward), Joanne Keane (Martin) and Colleen Thompson (Michael); his siblings, Mary "Annie", Charles Gallagher (Anna), Elsie Shaw, Nancy Bosak (Walter) and Thomas Gallagher (Carol); and his grandchildren, James (Melissa), Megan, Amanda (Ira), Sean (Samantha), Edward (Kayla), Brian (Ashley), Dylan (Courtney), Kelly (James), Andrew (Jessie), Amber (Chris), Casi (Walter), Michael (Calli), Joseph, Martin (Zoe) and Reagan. He is also survived by 19 great-grandchildren.
