She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Henry Imes and Anna Mae Coleman Imes; her son Robert Jenkins (Robin); her siblings, Barbara A. Imes Jorden and Thomas Andrew Imes; and also Deveraux James.
She is survived by: her children, John Jenkins (Terry), James Jenkins (Cinnone), Tommy Jenkins, Brenda Elizabeth Jorden (James Cole) and Charles Imes (Debra); her sister-in-law Arnetta Imes; her grandchildren, Omar, Shellise, Samahd, Malcolm, Jaimie, Maya, Mariah and Robert, Jr.; her great grandchildren, Jada, Omar, Zorii, Zayden, Peyton, Morgan and Chosen; her great-nephew Charles, Jr.; and her great-niece Sabrina.
