He was predeceased by: his wife Doris Joan Gillen; his children, Harry John Gillen and Irene C. Brown; his sister Clara Gillen; and his parents, John Gillen and Catherine Gillen.
He is survived by: his children, Carol Ann Owen of Clayton, Michael Charles Gillen of Clayton, Mark C. Gillen of Franklinville and Roseann Marie Tayvinsky of Vineland; his grandchildren, Tammy Lynn Brown, Christina Deschler, Patrick Gillen, Amber Brown, Sean Gillen, Lindsay Gillen, Christopher Deschler, Jimmy Keelan and Gabby Keelan; and his siblings, Kathleen Holwick, Eva Goodwin, Vera Collins, Charles Gable and William Gable.
