He was predeceased by: his parents, Jay Bennett and Evelyn Golden-Bennett; his wife Barbara; and his brother Robert Bennett. He is survived by: his children, Albert Bennett Jr. (Saani), Jay Bennett, Kiesha Fernandez-Channel (Horace), Christina Patterson and Rhonda Patillo-Owens (Vernon); and his brother William Bennett (Renee). He is also survived by twelve grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.
