He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Lon and Ethel Poteete Davenport; and his siblings, Guy, Glenn, Lewis, Arlena, Pauline and Ruth.
He is survived by: his wife Mabel Boyden; his children, Barbara (Gaskill), Jennie (Mark Lindbloom), Thomas Alan (Diane Davenport), James Lon Davenport and Pam (Rich Attanasio); his siblings, Vera Mae Jackson, Mildred Jackson, Lois Parnell, Richard and Johnny Davenport; his grandchildren, Joseph and Beth Peacos III; his friends, Matthew, Amnah Lindbloom, Sarah, John Marion, Heather, Holly and Timothy Attanasio; and his great grandchildren, Joseph Peacos IV, Carter Rose, Kaia Lindbloom, Wyatt and Sylvia Marion. He is also survived by cousins, nieces, nephews.
