She is survived by: her children, Laura Schnitzer of Pen Argyl, PA, Max D. Shope, Jr. of Las Vegas, NV, Kelly Nuneviller of Hillsborough, NC and Steven Wene of Ephrata, PA.; her grandchildren, Kyle, Brooke Schnitzer, Alyssa and Kiera Wene; and her sister Ann Hempel of Barkhamsted, CT..
