He was predeceased by: his father Richard O'Connell; his brother Richard O'Connell; his father-in-law Ernie DeGraw; and his nephew Jason O'Connell. He is survived by: his son Kevin Patrick (Courtney Stone O'Connell) of Alexandria, VA; his grandchildren, Noah and Charlie O'Connell; his sister Sharon Searles (Vinny Kornmayer); his mother-in-law Joan DeGraw; his siblings-in-law, Ernie (Gail DeGraw) and Jeanette O'Connell; and also Mary O'Connell (DeGraw). He is also survived by five nieces and one nephew and several great nieces and nephews.
