James touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was predeceased by: his parents, J. Warren Walters and Caroline Walters (Rapole); and his granddaughter Elizabeth Walters. He is survived by: his wife Carol Walters (McCrum); his children, James Walters, III (Deborah), Christina Hoffman (Jeff) and Michael Walters (Kara); his adoptive daughter Danielle Bilenski; his grandchildren, Donovan, Bryan Hoffman, James IV, Victoria, Kelly, Michael II, Bridgette and Christian Walters; and his siblings, Susan Gunderman, Gordon and William Walters.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to either the Franklin Fire Department (137 Buckwheat Road, Franklin, NJ 07416) or the Franklin Town Band (PO Box 16, Franklin, NJ).
