He was predeceased by: his parents, Aristea Kounelias Pappas and Dennis S. Pappas (Aristea Kounelias Pappas); and his brother Sam S. Pappas. He is survived by: his children, Angie Marie Hawthorne (Jarrett) of Sparta, Tammie Crystal Mastrofilippo (Benjamin) of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania, Dennis Casper Pappas of Wharton and Adam Cosmo Pappas of Manhattan; his grandchildren, Joseph J. Mastrofilippo, Jarrett T. Hawthorne, Savannah M. Mastrofilippo and Juliette E. Hawthorne; his brothers, Jim Pappas and Tom Pappas; his nephew Josh Pappas; and his goddaughters, Margarita Sanchez and Jessica Tuttle.
Visitation was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Goble Funeral Home (22 Main St, Sparta Township, NJ 07871). A prayer was held on Monday, November 11th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
