With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Phelps (Franklin Lakes, New Jersey), born in Paterson, New Jersey, who passed away on April 13, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lawrence Gorton and Ruth Gorton; her sisters, Gloria Prokap (John) of Barnegat, NJ, Lorraine Schroers of North Haledon and Barbara Wahab; and her nieces and nephews, John, Gordon Prokap, Mary, Christine, Susan, Lisa and Aimee Wahab.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the American Heart Association, 7272 Greenville Ave., Dallas TX 75231.
