It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Apelian (Franklin Lakes, New Jersey), who passed away on December 20, 2023, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Robert Apelian to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Megerditch Apelian and Sadica Apelian; his siblings, Albert, Marie and Arshalous; his aunt Manas; and his uncle Manoushag Apelian.

He is survived by : his wife Juliette; his brothers, Henry and Vartkes; his children, Minas (Jill Cutler), Roubina (Jeff Dermksian), Raffi (Laura Herubin) and Maral Banks; and his grandchildren, Katherine Apelian, Robert Apelian, Matthew Dermksian, Michael Dermksian, Nicole Dermksian, Julia Banks and Taline Banks.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Robert & Juliette Apelian Endowment with the Armenian General Benevolent Union (AGBU) which goes to support education in Armenia or to Sts. Vartanantz Armenia Apostolic Church.
