As Maria departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Maria may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Maria leaves behind.

She is survived by: her husband Paolo; her son Francesco (Cynthia); her grandchildren, Francesco Andrea and Chiara Marielena; her brother Angelo Terranova (Cristina); and her brother-in-law Giuseppe Aquila. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial (530 High Mountain Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church (787 Franklin Lake Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A burial was held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 300 Soldier Hill Rd, Township of Washington, NJ 07676.
