It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Filomena A. Makoujy of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, who passed away on July 24, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Antoinette Deo (Colona) and Thomas Deo; her husband Norman J. Makoujy; her children, Thomas Makoujy (Kathleen) of Sparta, Gina (Glen Poppe) of Franklin Lakes, Jacqueline of Franklin Lakes and Norman, II of Warwick; her grandchildren, Christopher Poppe (Julia), Catherine Poppe Noel (Nick), Anna Makoujy, Stefanie Makoujy and Jacob Makoujy; her great grandchildren, Logan, Finnian and Henry; and her brothers-in-law, Richard Makoujy (Clair Brunetti) and Jack Makoujy (Hyela). She was also cherished by many loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions to St Jude Childrens' Research Hospital would be appreciated.
