He was predeceased by: his sister Matilda Mastrandrea. He is survived by: his children, Edward Saya, Monica Phillips, Geralyn Lindberg, Francis Saya and Nicholas Saya; and his stepdaughters, Elizabeth Utvik and Stephanie Massie. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
