He was predeceased by : his parents, John Paterson and Grace Paterson; and his brother Jack Paterson. He is survived by : his wife Laura Paterson; his sons, Michael Paterson (Colleen Pagan) and Arthur Paterson (Stacie); and his grandchildren, Jack, Ryan, Nicholas, Emma, James and Benjamin.

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests donations be made in Arthur's name to Most Blessed Sacrament RC Church, Franklin Lakes to help in the rebuilding of the church.
