With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Antonette Caporale of Franklin Lakes, New Jersey, who passed away on December 1, 2024 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Antonette departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Antonette. Though Antonette may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Anton Hladik and Emilie Hladik (Pawloski); and her husband Clement Caporale of Jersey City. She is survived by: her significant other Walter Pilcer, Jr.; her daughter Lara McCarthy (Mark) of Franklin Lakes; her granddaughter Emily McCarthy; and her sister Wanda Ackerman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 11th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Vander Plaat-Vermeulen Memorial (530 High Mountain Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Church of the Most Blessed Sacrament (787 Franklin Lake Rd, Franklin Lakes, NJ 07417). A burial was held on Thursday, December 12th 2024 at the Maryrest Cemetery (770 Darlington Ave, Mahwah, NJ 07430).
