She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Robert Hartgers; her sons, Jack, David (Eva), Bobby (Kristy) and Gregg (Tracy); her grandchildren, Olivia, Will, Bri (John), Lauren, David, Wes, Brooke, Susan, Elizabeth, Caroline and Colin; her great grandchildren, Lilly and Charlie; and her brother Charles Whiteman (Phyllis).
