He was predeceased by: his parents, Beniamino Mattessich and Domenica Mattessich; and his brothers, John Mattessich (Maria), Bepo (Anna) and Tony.
He is survived by: his wife Antoinette Mattessich; his children, Ben, Joe (Maryann) and Jaime; his grandchildren, Ava, Tiana and Colin; his siblings, Antonia Piccinich (late Tomaso), Beniamo Mattessich (Zora) and Martiza; and his sisters-in-law, Anna Maria Picinich (John) and Josephine Picinic (late Anthony). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frank Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Directors (327 Main St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Madonna R. C. Church (340 Main St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024). An entombment was held on Wednesday, October 30th 2024 at 11:45 AM at the Madonna R. C. Church (2070 Hoefleys Ln, Fort Lee, NJ 07024).
