She was predeceased by: her parents, Lillian Foster and Michael Foster; her siblings, Arthur Foster, Michael Foster, Margaret Mckenna, Rita Trotta and Dorothy Rund; and her husband Carl Anthony Sambogna.
She is survived by: her daughters, Mary Hovan (John Hovan), Phyllis Black (late Tyrone Black) and Pompilio John Sambogna (Amy Sommerhalter Sambogna); and her grandchildren, John Hovan Jr., Prentice Black, Jaime Wisz, Brett David Black, Shauna Black, Courtney Rojas, Blair Posnick and Brittany Richter. She is also survived by 11 great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchild.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Hunt-Stellato Funeral Home (1601 Palisade Ave, Fort Lee, NJ 07024). A Mass was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM and at 11:30 AM.
