He was predeceased by: his parents, Bette Wilkens (John Wilkens) and John Wilkens; and his nephew Darren Drake. He is survived by: his wife Helen Wilkens; his children, John and Kristen Wilkens; his daughter-in-law Lauren Wilkens; his grandchildren, Gracen, Joseph and Luke Wilkens; and his sisters, Susan Wilkens and Barbara Drake (Fran Parise).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, January 28th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Frank A. Patti Funeral Directors (327 Main St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024). A Mass was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Roman Catholic Church (2367 Lemoine Ave, Fort Lee, NJ 07024). A burial was held on Wednesday, January 29th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Fairview Cemetery (500 Fairview Ave, Fairview, NJ 07022).
