John E. Mattesich Obituary

We are sad to announce that on September 29, 2024, at the age of 88, John E. Mattesich of Fort Lee, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his daughter Miriam; his siblings-in-law, Nives Hroncich, Dina Mircovich, Nicholas Morin and Alfred Johnson; and his parents, Domenick Mattesich and Maria D. Mattesich.

He is survived by: his wife Maria Mattesich; his children, John, Ronald, Brian and Annamaria Mattesich; his children-in-law, Barbara Reynolds Mattesich, Helen Mattesich, Victoria Mattesich and Mark Vlacancich; his sisters, Barbara Morin and Rosemary Johnson; his brother-in-law John Mircovich; and his grandchildren, Lindsey, Preston, Braiden, Grace, Mark, John and Faith.

Visitation was held on Friday, October 4th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Frank Patti and Kenneth Mikatarian Funeral Directors (327 Main St, Fort Lee, NJ 07024). A Mass was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 9:30 AM at the Epiphany R. C Church (247 Knox Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010). An entombment was held on Saturday, October 5th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Madonna R. C. Church (2070 Hoefleys Ln, Fort Lee, NJ 07024).
