He was predeceased by: his parents, Vasilis Diamantopoulos and Agoritsa Diamantopoulos; and his siblings, Elias Diamantopoulos, Theodoros Diamantopoulos, Nikolaos Diamantopoulos, Chrisoula Dimitrakopoulou, Politimi Kaliora and Stavroula Diamanti.
He is survived by: his wife Helen Diamantopoulos; his children, Evangelo Diamantopoulos (Elena Diamantopoulos) and Bill Diamantopoulos (Laura Busch); and his grandchildren, Ioanni Diamantopoulos, Theodosia Diamantopoulos and Henry Diamantopoulos.
