He was predeceased by : his parents, Rosario Maceri and Giuseppa Gramuglia; his parents-in-law, Giuseppe Arfuso and Maria Zagari; his siblings, Filippo Maceri (Graziella) and Tommaso Maceri; and his sibling-in-law Tommaso Arfuso (Carmela).

He is survived by : his spouse Annunziata Maceri; his children, Rosario Maceri and Giuseppa Maceri; his grandson John Carmelo Walsh; his brother Antonino Maceri (Maria); and his siblings-in-law, Felice Arfuso (Domenica), Antonio Arfuso (Sara), Pino Arfuso (Caterina), Angela Bugge (Carmen), Caterina Arfuso (Tommaso) and Carmela Arfuso (Domenico). He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Friday, June 14th 2024 from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the A. K. Macagna Funeral Home (495 Anderson Ave, Cliffside Park, NJ 07010). A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, June 15th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Nicholas Church (442 Brinkerhoff Ave, Palisades Park, NJ 07650).
