He is survived by: his sons, Chris Carter (Peggy), Michael Carter (Julie), Scott (Brenda) and Bill Carter (Rhonda); his siblings, Eugene Carter and Mary Diaz; his grandchildren, Adam (Amanda), Leha, Sara and Chelsea (John); and his great grandchildren, Cora and John Jr..
