We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 93, Sven I. Nelson of Forked River, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert and Elisabeth; and also Herbert, Jr.. He is survived by: his family NJ; his wife Doris A. Nelson; his sons, Douglas (Arlene), Peter and Gary (Denise); his grandchildren, Desirae, De'Anna (John) and Gary Jr.; and his great grandchildren, Octavia and John III.
Viewing was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Layton's Home For Funerals (250 Lacey Rd, Forked River, NJ 08731). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location. The military honors was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Brigadier General William C. Doyle Veterans Memorial Cemetery (350 Province Line Rd, Wrightstown, NJ 08501).
