She was predeceased by: her husband Francis Lee Cavanaugh; her son Joseph Patrick Cavanaugh; and her sisters, Florence Oblack, Helen LeGrand and Gertrude O'Connor.
She is survived by: her children, Frank L. Cavanaugh (Mary Ann) of Point Pleasant, Laura Cavanaugh of Forked River, Michael J. Cavanaugh (Rosanna) of Brick, Mary Elizabeth Grant (David) and MaryCatherine Shoults (Gino) of Alexandria, VA; her brother Peter R. Leddy (Dolores) of Verona; her grandchildren, Tim, Bridget, Matthew, Bobby, Lauren, David, Kevin, Joe, Jimmy and Ryan; and her great grandchildren, Evan, Liam, Finn and Rhett.
