It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olga M. Obando of Forked River, New Jersey, born in San Jose, California, who passed away on January 11, 2024, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Valverde Carvajal and Flora Solano Coto; and her siblings, Mario Valverde and Yamileth Valverde. She is survived by: her husband Jose S. Obando; her son Christopher Obando (Stephanie Levenson); and her siblings, Ana Valverde, Rodrigo Valverde, Roberto Valverde, Alvaro Valverde, Teresa Valverde, Grace Medrano, Martha Widuch, Leda Valverde, Francisco Valverde, Lidieth Valverde, Lillian Arias, Geovanny Valverde, Rose Mary Valverde and Karol Valverde. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews, extended relatives and friends.
