She was predeceased by: her parents, Frances Shufelt (Gianfrancesco) and Gordon Shufelt. She is survived by: her husband John Ansbach of Forked River; her children, Jennifer Ansbach (Noah Schaffer) of Lanoka Harbor and Michael Ansbach (Jessica) of Point Pleasant; her brothers, Frank Shufelt (Magdalena) of Miami Lakes, FL, Gordon Shufelt (Susan) of Cape May Point and John Shufelt (Shuchin Lin) of Taichung, Taiwan; and her grandsons, Holden and Oliver of Point Pleasant. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Riggs Funeral Home (130 N Main St, Lanoka Harbor, NJ 08731). A memorial service was held on Tuesday, December 3rd 2024 at 6:45 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, which Linda said she loved but did not want when she was dead because she couldn't see them, the family asks for donations to the Cancer Research Institute, earmarked for chronically-underfunded brain cancer research, or Popcorn Park Zoo/Associated Humane Societies.
