It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joseph Edward Tomkus (Forked River, New Jersey), born in Newport, Rhode Island, who passed away on December 26, 2019, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Tomkus and Jody Tomkus Elmore. He is survived by: his wife Susan L. Thomson Tomkus; his sons, Luke J. Tomkus and Joseph G. Tomkus; his siblings, Michael Tomkus, Kristie Williams and Wendy Acevedo; his aunts and uncles, Vicky Gordon, Patty Prouty, Dave Tomkus and Bill Owens; his parents-in-law, Marilyn Thomson and Franklin Thomson; and his sister-in-law Michelle Thomson. He is also survived by one nephew; four nieces; and friends.
