He was predeceased by: his parents, John Hein and Flora Contreras; and his sister Santa Contreras. He is survived by: his wife Rosemary McHugh; his sons, Jeffrey Jr. (Heather) and Michael; his grandchildren, Jason Jeffrey and Penelope Rose; and his siblings, John Hein, Robert Contreras and Flora Bierilo. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
