He was predeceased by: his parents, John Matthews and Caroline Matthews (Heinzer); and his sibling Caroline Matthews. He is survived by: his wife Evelyn Matthews (Greenlee); his children, David T. (Diane Matthews), Mark (Eleanor Matthews) and Melody Jacko; his son-in-law Edward Jacko of Levittown; his brother John Matthews of Springfield, PA; and his grandchildren, Grant, Dean, Devon, Luke, Alyssa Matthews, Jason and Justin Jacko. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
