He was predeceased by: his father Joseph Puhan; and his sister Susan Puhan. He is survived by: his extended family, Charlie (Shirley Puhan), Robert Puhan, Linda (Gary Story), Ruth Puhan, Maggie Puhan, Frank (Mary Puhan), Buck Bailey, Donald Bailey and Teresa (Tom Fells); and his friend Nancy Ferraro.
