It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis Bertekap of Fords, New Jersey, born in Perth Amboy, New Jersey, who passed away on May 15, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Kollar and Florence Kollar; and her brother Joseph Kollar, Jr.. She is survived by: her husband Robert L. Bertekap; her children, Elissa and Robert (Laura Bertekap, Jr.) of Wallingford, CT.; and her grandsons, Robert Bertekap, III and Nicholas Bertekap. She is also survived by her many nieces, nephews and cousins.
