He was predeceased by: his stepmother Connie Petosky; and his brother Marc Petosky. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Beyers Petosky; his daughter Lauren Petosky of Fords; his father James G. Petosky of Brandon Fl; and his siblings, Eric Petosky of Youngsville, NC. and Robyn Watwood of Monticello, NY.. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Wounded Warriors Foundation.
