We are sad to announce that on February 14, 2025, at the age of 87, Gloria Rodriguez of Fords, New Jersey passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As Gloria departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Gloria. Though Gloria may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Maria Castro and Segundo Castro; her husband Andrew; her children, Susan, Richard and Andy; and her close friend Aida. She was also cherished by sister to her nine (+1) siblings.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Mitruska Funeral Home (23 Ford Ave, Fords, NJ 08863). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 11:30 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Our Lady of Peace RC Church (620 Amboy Ave, Edison, NJ 08837). A graveside service was held on Friday, February 21st 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Clover Leaf Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Gloria's name to St. Jude's Children Hospital, as a tribute to her lifelong dedication to helping others.
