She was predeceased by: her husband Joseph John Claffy; and her brother John Grimek. She is survived by: her children, Joseph J. Claffy Jr. (Viviana) of Fords, Renee Miller (John) of East Windsor and Dawn Aube (Lowell) of Fords; and her sisters, Blanche Cupsie, Doreen Katner and Gail Hummel. She is also survived by eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
