He was predeceased by: his father Michael Torhan. He is survived by: his wife Arlene Torhan; and his children, Michael Torhan of Pittsburgh, PA., Mary Ann Grennen (John D.) of Spotswood and Laura Keefe (Steve) of Asbury. He is also survived by five grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
