He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, John Hamaid and Margaret Hamaid; his wife Joann Hamaid; his children, Elisa Rubiano (John) of Princeton Junction, Jeffrey Hamaid (Christine) of Edison and John Hamaid (Kathryn) of Staten Island; his grandchildren, Michaela Hamaid, Kira Rubiano, Solea Rubiano, Theresa Hamaid and James Hamaid; and his siblings, Ethel Ferris (William), Margaret Ann Allstaedt (Robert), MaryLou Hendrickson (Vaughn), Ruth Pellegrino (James), John Hamaid and Jean Fiore. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
