He was predeceased by: his parents, Ramsaroop Mahabir and Melis Mahabir. He is survived by: his children, Nita (Waqar), Patricia (Bobby), Sunita and Andrew; his grandchildren, Emma, Ayan, Eric and Amir; and his siblings, Ralph, Elsie, Lovelyn, Rita and Mummy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
