Dennis P. Golden Obituary
January 13, 2021 the world lost the man who kissed Jimi Hendrix and danced with Janis Joplin during Woodstock. A man that went to prison on false charges and threw a drink in the face of a bartender for slander; drank beer at 7 years old while carrying it home for his father from the Main Tavern. A man that slept in a dresser drawer as a baby yet fought all the odds, as well as anyone who dared look the wrong way at him.
See but none of that is true.
What is true is that he was born to William and Mary, drafted to Vietnam and served his time there. What we know to be true is that he made sure his father had oxygen at the end of HIS life. He worked as a floor sander, and he drank and partied as young men do. Until Donna Terrano locked him down, threw all his clothes on the lawn and put the kibosh on all of that. Two daughters later, foreman of a steel mill, and he never once left them hanging. No one wanted for anything, except maybe correct directions. He had a penchant for stretching the truth for the sake of a story. He was devoted beyond question to his family, and to resting his eyes.
Dennis and Donna were both proud sponsors of Budweiser and sometimes bookmarks, so they say.
Dennis is predeceased by his wife, Donna as well as his brothers and sister (Billy, Paulie and Doris), and parents.
He is survived by his brother Bobby, sister Helen, and daughters Tricia and Nicole.
