He was predeceased by: his parents, Armando Lopes and Guilhermina Lopes. He is survived by: his wife Maria A. Lopes; his children, Antonio J. Lopes (Isabel) and Rita Oliveira (Carlos); his grandchildren, Sonia Llewellyn, Sofia Lopes, Andreia Carrera and Carla Vieira; and his great grandchild Emelia Llewellyn.
