He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth "Betsy" Campbell Riordan; his sons, John Jr. (Marion) of Mt, Airy and Matthew (Kathleen) of Florham Park; and his grandchildren, Annelise, Marielle, Luke, Madelyn, Lily and Benjamin.

Donations would be appreciated to the Redeemer Lutheran Church in Succasunna and/or the Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
