It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ernest Scherler (Florham Park, New Jersey), born in Cleveland, Ohio, who passed away on April 21, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Scherler and Augusta Scherler; his stepsons, Jason Stowe and Joseph Skoczen; and his brother Kenneth Scherler.
He is survived by: his wife Susan; his son Kurt; his daughter-in-law Deborah Scherler; his stepson Robert Skoczen; his daughter-in-law Jean Skoczen; his stepgranddaughters, Cheryl Pucil, Bonnie Durkin and Debbie Skoczen-Winder; his grandchildren, Claire, Madeline and Wyatt Scherler; and his pets, Little Bear and Emma.
Funeral Services will be private and held under the direction of O'Brien Funeral Home, Brick. Due to COVID-19, a memorial service will be announced at a later date.
