He was predeceased by: his parents, William T. Hurd and Catherine O'Connor Hurd; and his children, Alice P. Hurd and William Thomas "Billy" Hurd (Betty Ann Hurd). He is survived by: his wife Alice Amerman Hurd; and his daughters, Karen A. Masi (Joseph Masi) and Theresa L. Karcher (John Karcher). He is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many nieces and nephews.
